Had Abita S.O.S. last night. I had bought it awhile back because the proceeds benefit the shore clean up in the Gulf and decided to try to last night. Not bad, but not a great beer.

Yes, I had noticed that I have had the pleasure of eating at the Dogfish Head Alehouse on a couple occasions (on expense account no less), and found both the beer and the food to be quite good. Some of the beverages go beyond the word "beer", and are more akin to brandy.

Even though I'm a scumbag and don't have much of a palette I decided to try out some local brews out here in Colorado and got this wonderful local brew called Laughing Lab, makes me regret wasting stomach room on sam's winter lager
Stone IPA
Stone Saison du Buff (x2)
Dogfish Head Saison du Buff (x2)
Rogue Mocha Porter
Rogue Chocolate Stout
Star Hill The Love (x6)
A oak aged double IPA of some sort, the name escapes me right now
BrewDog Tokyo
And soon here I should be buying my friend's bottle of Tactical Nuclear Penguin and Sink the Bismark. He's going sober and selling all of his beers, so I'm clearing him out slowly of the cheaper ones, and one of these days I'll bite the bullet and buy the high alcohol content/expensive ones.
I want to try it, but I haven't seen in on shelves. I got lucky my friend had one. They have 5am Saint, Hardcore IPA and Punk Ale on the shelves regularly, but not the Tokyo. 18% makes me very happy.
I want to try the Trashy Blonde too, but I never find that either.

Wake and bake is very good. We had it on draft at work for our one year anniversary. You should have seen all the vintage kegs we had- I'll have to post up the pic.
