I would like to move to pads with no corrosive dust. The rain at Mid-Ohio left rust outling my taped numbers on each side of the car. The wheels....yeah. When I took my project car over to the new house last night it start pouring rain. One can only imagine what those once pure white K1's look like now.

Damn, this makes me want to go wash my car, I know it has tons of dust from NCCAR on it still... I doubt the HP+ dust is that bad though but it would be a dum dum move to kill a fresh paint job due to laziness.

This is one of the reasons I hated the Cobalt GTS pads. That and they didn't stop for shit

Doespike recommended Carbotech XP-10s and I love them. The dust just wipes right off.

The i5's I've looked at so far were a little spendy, but you're the second person to push them. I'll look closer

Shit, sorry about the busted links. But that's the general idea of the thing.
Any reason you're not looking at an AMD setup?
Other than personal preference, not really. I used plenty of AMD chips back in the early Pentium days, but since then I've just gone Intel.

Gotta say, I love the XP10s. Great bite and very impressive wear, rotors and pads.......and ZERO corrosive dust. Jeff has been using them as well and is impressed.

BTW, lub the balance with the Hawk HPS rears

I do like my xp8s and I get the nasa discount... but they are still much more than say the HP+'s. I guess I will just stick with the carbotechs.

I was able to get most of it off with clay. I'm still game to have you work your magic on the exterior.

Yeah, it gets cried like Wolf way too much....Angela(black, for those who haven't met her) gets it quite often. Latest one was this older black woman trying to pass a phoney check at her store. The dumbass tried to argue about it for 20 mins and then left and called corporate.....I mean, what a tard. Drawing attention to yourself for doing something illegal...federal pound me in the ass prison illegal :P

Yeah it does get "cried wolf" a lot... I just couldnt believe that this lady felt the need to do that. She then proceeded to ask me how long I have been in sales and working at this store and so on. I asked her after her rant was over if she was a divorce attorney or something and she replied I audit for the Common Wealth of Virginia, and I said ohh well that explains why you are trying to pick everything apart... she left

You should be able to get more bang for your buck going AMD. Plus, the integrated graphics on the ATI (AMD) chipsets are superior, and since you don't seem to be planning on having a video card, that could be significant.
