Is it ok if I use rbf 600 for my clutch fluid?
Not sure what the problem could be but once engine temp gets up, clutch has an issue where the pedal isn't smooth when pushed in. I pump the clutch pedal a few times and then the problem goes away.
Throw-out bearing issue or just needs to be re-bled?

Is the release bearing more than 2 years (~10 track events) old?JDM FACTOR wrote:Is it ok if I use rbf 600 for my clutch fluid?

If so, replace it and clean/lube the input shaft (also check the clutch disc for spring wear).
Bleed the fluid system once every 2-3 years no matter what. Cheap OEM/super blue fluid works just fine.
Check the clutch master cylinder for leaks and replace if needed.

Re: clutch fluid
I don't use great fluid for the clutch on mine, just whatever advance has. Brakes get good fluid, but have never had an issue with the clutch soo..
Oh, and do what Will said above.. and..
How's the fluid level? Low? If so, check for leaks around the clutch master cylinder (will leak inside the car) and around the clutch slave.

Re: clutch fluid
Release bearing is a few years old but it's had total 500 miles since then, car is never driven.
When the car was in storage for a little while, the clutch line had a bunch of air in the line but has been re-bled. I'm going to check the cmc and see if there's any leaks.
Thanks for the info guys.
