I've already been in contact with a guy here who does body work. I have to look at the ribs on the roof... that same person obviously does paint and mentioned he will gladly perform said work for the cost of parts.

So.... White EG + SW388's should get me enough to purchase that car...

That car would be a perfect project for me, and the selling factor to the wife was I already a TON of spare (read, non-performance) parts for it. Dizzy, Alternator, plugs, wires, hoses... the list goes on.

nice! getting that moonroof out of there won't be hard at all. If for some reason our chump car plan fails (which I'm determined not to) then you can saw the roof off the RS.

That would be most excellent. But the moon roof thing isn't a priority.

If/When I get the car, T-belt and other maintenance will be first as with removing the spoiler and decals. Then trying to find a set of non-flashy rims. I'll also be looking for some regular A badges that I can paint black.
