cool deal, granted I've had an overwhelming amount of offers there are only 2 or 3 guys I'll actually make a point to email when I'm ready to sell again. I'll make sure to let you know dude.

Re: 2001 #318, NHBP, stock, 108k, clean title, NC, $9500
Man that $9500 price won't be there anymore.
I just had red (acura master tech) completely rebuild the motor, replace all wear items, etc... huge line list of stuff.
The few corrosion problems are scheduled to be tackled in 3 weeks, with full respray. Which at that point it will be a showroom car with a fresh motor, fresh body, fresh paint. So essentially I'd probably want $12k for, at which some will argue is too much for a 01 with 115k (which is a valid argument), so with that being said I'll probably keep it forever rather than bother trying to sell it. I am dedicated to restoring her though, it's my favorite ITR that I've owned to date.

Steve,
sent you a PM regarding your car and would like to speak with you.
I am somewhat under the time clock as it would be a Bday gift for a family member
and would like you to call me asap.
I left my cell phone on a PM to you.
Looking forward to hearing from you and hopefully providing your R-type an excellent new home.

Steve,
You're the best. Your R-Type would have been perfect in my mind.
I am very impressed with the quality of your members. Almost every member I have
"PM'd" has given me the same advice you did. Some of them have cars for sale on the site.
The fact that people have someone else's best interest in mind before pushing to sell their own ride
just shows that not everyone is out to get you. Sad but true, there are many bad people out there but
this forum seems to be full of the good people.
Your suggestion of getting the one with 20,000 miles that is bone stock from the
original owner for my mom is most likely the best.
It was more money than I wanted to spend but MOM is worth it. Plus one day she will have
to move to an automatic and then I will happily step into the drivers seat.
If I get any extra cash flow I will try to buy your R-Type. I'll have to get busy and sell some of
my older Stangs.
copes

I have no reason to sell it, it's an awesome car. The thread got bumped. But like anything is for sale for the right price.Dave_B wrote:I say just keep it Steve. One for you aor the and one for the lady.

So is the paint session scheduled? Kind of interested. Do you have any underside shots? After looking at that Wisconsin R, I'm a bit concerned.
Also, don't ever sell to a person calling this an "r-type". How the frik does that rhyme with tiiite car?

To be honest this car hasn't been "for sale" in a long time, the thread just got bumped out of hibernation. I just kicked a crap load of money into dealership service and soon to be body work/respray, so it'll be unlikely that I'll turn around and sell it immediately afterwards.

Still for sale, figures I get tons of bites when I'm not trying to sell.
I can be flex on the pricing, and even more so if you're somebody that I know.

Good luck. Tough time of year I guess. I have a gut feeling I might own the TSX for a few months, ha.

Yeah, I'm not expecting a quick sale at all. Seriously though if one of you guys that I've met/know wants it I'll drastically take the price down.cheezthis wrote:Good luck. Tough time of year I guess. I have a gut feeling I might own the TSX for a few months, ha.
