The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.

Anything goes? Well, if you keep it clean and aren't obnoxious.

Nah, we're not adopting him, he's just chilling at our place until we find him a forever home. :D

It is quite the ghost town. I've been lurking around all weekend and haven't seen much activity.

Well....NY is all backward ass so it's complicated :P In total we can usually get 5 deer each.....but not all at once. It varies archery vs gun seasons. Different tags.

nice!

Is deer population up? I remember as a kid you'd only get one tag for bow/muzzle season and one tag for rifle season.

That's too gnarly.

Flying out to Colorado Springs this afternoon, not sure what I'm going to do there. Maybe take the rental up pikes peak, bathe in coors light, any ideas?

Deer populations are higher in our end of the state than yours so more management permits are issued...although not as many this year as prior ~8-10 years.

Last I checked in PA you are allowed one per tag, and you are allowed only two tags.(unless of course you owned a farm, then it can be considered crop management and I believe you can shoot them year round) Now in VA I believe you are allowed 3 or 4 per tag. and there are a lot more deer in my area in PA then there were where i lived in VA

Yeah, for almost 20 years we hunted in Westfield, only 20 miles from Erie, PA. That's where we always got the most permits...tons of deer there.

There are tons of them in my area also. I've almost hit about 15 of them so far this year, and every time they jump out im in the yellow caR. If i would be driving the silver car i wouldn't care if there was a whole herd of them that jumped right on top of the car...
