Mechanic in the Charlotte,NC area...

Post by Smkynbandt »

Anyone know of a great mechanic in the Charlotte, NC area? I am looking at purchasing a 2000-2001 ITR in the next six to twelve months. Any tips on buying an ITR to pass on? Thanks for the help.

What we like to call "Harris Acura". He's not really an acura dealership but.. If not Will (Willard on Honda-Tech and here I think) then check out P1Auto, about 20-30minutes from Charlotte in Fort Mill, SC. They were Expo 3 sponsors and a bunch of great people, especially Jack Harris (yes, related to Will Harris).

Their website is linked in my sig.

I was going to buy a '98 ITR from a Acura or Honda (sorry, don't remember) mechanic six months ago in Charlotte. His name is Monty but I don't even remember his last name. Anyhow, you may want to call the Honda and Acura dealership(s) in Charlotte to try to locate him. I know he was selling the R to raise capitol for his own six bay garage. If anyone knows the Type R from the inside out I'm sure he does. Good luck in your search.

Take it to P1 automotive. Ask for Jack and he'll fix/mod your car to your expectation.
