Yeah, I'm the furthest from it. I imagine most people on here do not know the places I went for work weekly until I changed positions a few months ago, ha. I think many in here would probably freak out.

I learned that one in the movie "Gran Torino". It was quite an educational movie, really. I learned several new words.itrsteez wrote:LOL, I'm not sure if this is region-specific but 'zipperhead' is a racial slur. Not that I particularly care, but just so it isn't busted out at a water-cooler conversation years down the road.

Didn't see Gran Torino, but I've heard it's good. I still need to see Inception.

Ten bucks says somebody made it as a racial reference to a bad asian driver at one point and Jay made the association to a bad driver and not a race.. I did LOL when Jay said that though as it could of been interpreted at severely offensive.
When I was young my dad told me that "Tupperware Paries" were where women got together to buy/sell/trade dildos, I didn't find out until my 20's that it was in fact not a codeword but in fact the actual selling of tupperware. I had a conversation with my supervisor where she said she went to a tupperware party that past weekend and I replied with "well that's pretty gross you told me that, but alright", fortunately she was able to clear it up for me.

Depends on when you arrive....
Brad/Dave- Plans tomorrow night? The current plan is for me to meet Len at his sister's place in Spartanburg right after work. He wants to eat/grab a movie. I figured we could head back this way afterwards. Bonfire?

Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
Thank you. It hasn't been fun. I'm already $100 in the hole for one I got off ebay...that was a hacked off ODBI Non-VTEC unit. I plan to use the guts (if good) if needed. This autozone unit is horrible...itrsteez wrote:Sounds like fun

Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
So I had my name pulled out of a hat last night at my company's Christmas party.
I had the option of choosing an IPAD, 50" Plasma, Bose Wave Radio and something else but I can't remember thanks to being sloshed. I chose the Bose Radio....
It's something they're probably ordering today. However, I'm kind of having second thoughts. Even though my need for the IPAD is probably non-existent I may have more fun with it. The Bose system from what I've heard is really kick-ass though.
I don't know...what would have you guys done?

Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
I would have gotten the ipad. The Bose radios are stupidly expensive for what they are, which is an adequate kitchen radio.
I've had beer at VIR, Summit Point, CMP, Roebling, Road Atlanta, BeaveRun, Gingerman, MAM, Lowe's Motor Speedway...

The iPad for sure, at bare minimum if you didn't like it then you wouldn't of had a hard time selling it.
