I got a speeding ticket in the same spot on the way to NSI 1/2 mile before exit 420. I'm very familiar with that attorney. Let's just say my ticket basically turned into a parking ticket. robbie is the freaking man. He'll take care of you.itrsteez wrote:It's okay we were flying the whole way here (Wilmington), I'm fortunate that it was only 86. The fucker was he clocked me within eye shot of the exit ramp. Jordan said he has a BA attorney that can get me out of it fortunately.CivicBeater wrote:Bummer. That's the worst feeling.itrsteez wrote:86 in a 70 today, fux

Yeah F Virginia and DC... most of my driving has been in NOVA and its not the best place in the world to try an get away with a radar detector

I'd rather pay the fine for having the detector than get caught doing speeds that will cost you more money in fines, attorney fees, and loss wages due to jail time. VA is crazy!

I just don't speed on certain parts of the highway around here. Makes it a lot less hassle.

I'm just angry when I try so friggin' hard to get people to build their cars for intentions of seeing a road course and they opt for the drifting scene. arghhhh. Too many faggits in this world.

I am fairly certain the fine is pretty stiff for VA residents caught running a detector, but you are prolly right about it in the long run if it saves you from wreckless driving charges. Our troopers do little more than traffic in this commonwealth, so they are pretty much the highway gestapo.

Re: The OT place for OGs to BS w/o BS.
I just don't really speed anymore. I typically set the cruise about 5mph over the limit on the highway and sit my old ass in the middle lane or right lane. I guess I'm getting old (and also enjoy getting better MPG's). My record in each car (60+ mile trip)
Odyssey - 28.1mpg
TL Type S - 34.8mpg
F250 - 28.2mpg
Sad that the Odyssey is lowest on that list...

I can't wait to get a new distributor, wheel bearing, and O2 sensor in the GS-R. Even with the new tires my best has been around ~24mpg. I can do better.

I don't know if it's been a winter fuel mix, however my fit has been barely breaking 30mpg the past month or so.coolhandluke wrote:I can't wait to get a new distributor, wheel bearing, and O2 sensor in the GS-R. Even with the new tires my best has been around ~24mpg. I can do better.
