Well, I finally got around to racing my ITR. Here is my best time so far:
R/T - 1.274
60' - 2.305
1/8 - 9.799
1/4 - 15.197 @91.11 mph
I have an AEM CAI. That is my only mod and I run on Falken Azenis. Everything else is stock. I also lower my tire pressure to 20 psi. If anyone has any tips on technique or mods for a faster time, the help would be appeciated.
Later,

Re: Just started racing
You might want to double-check your 660 time. 6s are a bit fast. Keep practicing and you should be in the 14s with ease.

Re: Just started racing
The car needs to breathe, you need exhaust. Other than that improve the 60 foot and shift as close to fuel cut as possible and just refine your skills, the next step is to make more power and you need the hardware to hook it up. The faster you get the faster you want to be, it never ends.Low-D wrote:Well, I finally got around to racing my ITR. Here is my best time so far:

header, catback, and a high-flow cat (if you want to stay street legal)Low-D wrote:What kind of exhaust set up should I look into getting?
You can do a search and find stuff on this topic, there are dozens of brands to fit every possible scenario. The more exotic the more money it will cost you. One of my personal favorites for cat back is HKS, but you will get 50 other opinions for sure.
