Could i safely run a turbo??

Post by 2KITR »

sorry i keep asking questions, but i want to make my decision wether to go FI or all motor really soon. ive wanted a turbo forever, but dont wana deal with reliablity issues. ive found a drag 3 kit for $ 1950 new and i figured it was a good deal. can i use a turbo with stock compression, if i was to run about 5 ilbs boost? i know some of guys run around that, but how much did u pay for tuning? and u have higher octain gas. here in california, well around where i live almost all gas stations only offer 91 octain fuel, unless u pay $5 a gallon for "race fuel" offered at like 1 in 8 gas stations. i plan on lowering my compression but i want to figure out how much that would be, anyone have a general idea on the cost of that? thanx a lot in advance.
i enjoi my ITR :)
