Where to go now..
Where to go now..
I'm staring @ my R in the spot in front of my window @ work and I'm @ a fork in the road. I just put my cai in and am planning my drop (thanks for the suggestions on that ). Now I don't know where to go as far as work. I bought the car because I was obsessed with it. When you go from a worked VW to the big daddy of all VTEC's it's a bit of a jump.
I miss the bottom end torque my VR6 had, however I love the changeover to VTEC like a fat kid love cake.
Bottom line I want to add a lot on to myR, but I want it to still appear and sound(give or take a few decimals ) like stock. WHat do i add on??
Any reply's are apreciated thanks.

You don't lose the VTEC sound when boosting at least not when you turbo, listen to this clip of my ride, the VTEC changeover is very audible

I'm from NY. Considering a small wet shot (no, not that shot ) maybe as small as a 45. Anyways heard the clip of your R, Jan. Your car sounds like an animal
I dont want to just consentrate on my motor though, i'm desperately seeking gun metal itr wheels and the optional acura side and rear skirts. They're hard to find locally, because most NY r's have been stolen unfortunately
I had a brain fart when i posted this forum, still have no clue what to do.

NO Naawwws on the R, please- too many failures.
Just drive the car in some HPDEs and you will understand what it was built for.
Go with the N/A route and you will be happy, If you bought the car for draggin, you should have stayed wit the VR6.

Re: Where to go now..
I want a 2001 CW Canadian R...... damn I spring wood just thinking about it... Red interior, WHITE (my fav color...I hate my black Si color, too hard to keep clean) but damn... I want to get a R and transfer all my suspension, etc.. onto that...
Anyone know how hard it is to register or even get a Canadian R into the states? I live in Washington State and Canada is 17 miles away.... "so close, yet so far away..." Someday I'll have to change my name to erics01r lol
