There is no way to determine the production # from the vin #.

The only way to tell the production number is probably to call Acura headquarters. I have heard of a few people getting their numbers by calling.

The problem is that they weren't sequential.

VIN 3606 could've been ITR #76 and VIN 3607 could've been ITR #64.

As the shells were moved around, they'd encounter little problems here and there, and much of the fitment was done by manual labour. One VIN could be slowed down by the little tuner shop, while a later VIN got out of the shop ahead of schedule and had an ITR plaque affixed with a number lower than the car w/the lower chassis number.

Why does this matter so much, just out of curiosity? Somewhere in Japan there is a list of what chassis number got which ITR number, but I'm not aware of the list ever being accessed by anyone.

Perhaps one of our JDM friends with connections could go out of the way to get it for you but, once again, why does it matter so much? The VIN by itself will show up as an ITR when you look it up.

Yeah the vin does show as an ITR; I need to know my identidy; it's like not knowing who your parents are but knowing ur nationality..... Anyone have the # to the head quarters?
