will my motor take it????

Post by vteckiller »

i will be ordering my drag gen 3 turbo kit within the next month. I was wondering if the stock block will handle it. I will run 5-7 psi. As of right know i will be using v-afc for engine managment . is there anything else you would recomend. I will also be purchasing aem true time gears to adjust timing. Also apprx how much will it cost to have installed. thanx

The stock motor will take that level of boost as long as the fuel and timing is right.

I would go with skunk2 gears cause AEM's have a tendency to slip. also for added safety get the inline pro head gasket and block gaurd. http://www.inlinepro.com

also I would recommend a rev hard kit over drag. they are just better all round kits.

I run 15psi daily with the head gasket and block gaurd from inline pro. I have DSM injectors and vafc with a 12:1 FMU and missing link. the system works fine but expect MPG to suffer....good luck
