Just picked up my 01 R, fairly new to the board

Post by InOcULaNcE »

I just picked up my 2001 NHBP ITR on Saturday. I formally owned a 98 GSR, but mom took over the payments. I bought it from a very good owner/seller, and couldnt be more happy with it. The R is everything and more that I had expected. I cant believe the power the b18c5 produces after 5700RPM!! I have to say, all the critics that claim this car to be uncomfortable, bumpy, and noisy are pussies! Here are a few pics I took yesterday after washing it. Glad to be a member of the ITRCA.

If your asking its cuz you wanna mod it and I say you pay the bills on it so do what cha want. If I had they money I would have one bone stock but i would have one modded hard (hinting if I had money) Welcome to the board by the way

actually, as of now, i have no intention of modding it. I love the car the way it is, it feels real healthy! But you never know, in a few months after having the car for a while, I just may want to pick up an icebox, or an smsp or hytech header....there is just no way of fore seeing that right now.

I think all of us felt great about the car when it was brand new to us, but you get used to the power, and then you get the itch to make it faster. And you will!

Welcome to ITRCA.

Stay stock for the first year then modify it to your liking, reason- you might just find its right on point when you get on a Road course.

The addiction is just beginning. Take that baby out to a road course & then tell me you don't want to mod it. :D

I swore up & down (before I ever thought I'd actually own one) that I would never screw with a limited edition Type R! How wrong I was

WELCOME! Thanks for being patient with our site changes **thumbs up**
