Hey,
My check engine light came on last night. I got the code read at Autozone. the code 1259 came up. " Immobilizer to PCM Signal error" Is the diagnosis. My Vtec was sputtering when it should've kicked in. I'm gonna take it to Acura Monday. Anybody have this problem before? Is it a big problem? My VTEC works, but not really pushing the throttle to hard, tell I know for sure what's going on. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys.

Re: 1259 Diagnosis
immobilizer code on a car that doens't have an immobilizer.. I don't think I'd trust autozone for codes. Is there a CEL? If not, check the oil level, it's probably low.Worangejuice32 wrote:Hey,

Yeah, I was low on oil and coolant, filled both up. (Just bought it)but the VTEC sputtering is what freaked me out. Check Engine light is still on. VTEC seems to be OK. Still weary to squeeze the throttle though. Just gotta wait till Monday to take my car to Acura.

Check the code and see what's actually throwing it (the code autozone gave you is NOT correct). It's easy to check the code, just need a paper clip and a few minutes of time.Worangejuice32 wrote:Yeah, I was low on oil and coolant, filled both up.
