Integra Type-R Discussion - Discuss general ITR information, technical information (including requests for technical/mechanical help/assistance), modifications, tuning, etc.
I know the post is a bit late.. but oh well.. I feel that I want to keep low miles on the R for pretty much the same reasons everyone that owns a R . but driving the R is a have to because its addicting. I've been thinking of getting another car just to get around,... but I just started working from home which is 0 miles daily but no fun for me... because I'm not driving the R anymore...
Don't know what I'm going to do,probably go to work every now and then...
it's crazy..

If it was a porsche, of course I'd think otherwise.
I beg to differ. I LOVE driving my R, but after 110,000 miles, I just love going out in crappy weather in the '89 Accord & not giving a shit if some dumb driver pounds into it. I trust my driving, but don't trust the person next to me!
Oh yea - how much money am I saving driving 40 miles a day in crap gas & not washing the kaa every other day??? Maintenance on the R is MUCH more expensive than the cost of an old beater even when you do the work yourself.
I bought an 88 CRX, to drive everyday b/c i was paranoid too. There's just to many idiot people who drive there oversized SUV's and trucks that will never see off road just waiting to door ding me in a grocery store parking lot. The way I see it is that it my rex is saving me some heart break.
