WTB: 97-01 Integra Type R

Post by natedogg2669 »

Alright guys, I sold my '00 PY ITR in April 2002, and I have been kicking myself in the nuts for doing it ever since. So now, I'm looking to buy another one. It must be stock, but I will make an exception if it has only an AEM CAI or minor changes that do not affect the engine, suspension or performance.

I'd prefer a 97-98 CW Type R (I've always liked the white ones), but I will take a PY 00-01 Type R as well. I'm looking for someone who is willing to sell in Florida and who has taken excellent care of the car. No accidents, no problems. It must have low mileage (under 50K if it's a 97-98, or under 40K if it's an 00-01).

If you're interested in selling, please let me know to discuss further!

Thanks!

I still have my 2000 PY ITR with a JDM front conversion. I live in Georgia so Fla. is not far. All it has is a AEM cai, Greddy Evo cat-back, skunk2 short shifter, JDM shift boot, Mugen wing. I have all stock parts to go back in except for the front clip. It has 36k miles and im asking $20,500. Let me know something. For pics look in the classifieds under 2000 PY ITR w/JDM front 36k miles....Coo

EDIT: Deleted info, doesn't pertain now.

Thanks for the info. Sounds good, but I wouldn't pay that much for a somewhat modified Type R. I've found several others with less mileage and completely stock for under $19,500.

Looking for all ITR's in the southeast that are for sale. Preferably 97-98. Prefer all stock, but may consider if it has minor mods (CAI). Must have been taken care of very well (all oil changes, services, tire rotations, etc). No accidents, no salvaged titles, no heavily raced or ragged on ITR's. Looking for ITR's $14K or less.

I'll keep checking the For Sale listings. For those in the southeast (Florida, Georgia), feel free to PM me if you do have one for sale.

Thanks!

Cosworth's ITR is in awsome conditon! :) I've seen it and upset that I didn't buy his car. It was in better condition and cheaper than my ITR. But it was too late, I had already purchased my ITR after I meet Sean and found out his car was for sale.

I have a 01 NHB ITR I have been thinking about selling. It has 24500 miles. garrage kept. I have a few mods to it. It has an AEM cai, DC sports 4-1 stainless header, apex N1 cat back. I still have all the OEM parts. I would sell for 21,000. I am on the Florida line. If interested you can E-Mail my wifes acount @ susana77@bellsouth.net

I miss mine dearly and wish I had kept it, there is nothing I can do about that now.

I debated purchasing another one, but I purchased a Honda S2000 instead. I got a pretty good deal on a 2001 with 22K miles owned by an older couple and in awesome shape. It's silverstone with the red/black leather interior.

It's quite fun and fast!

Now, if only I had a Type R and the S2000....

Well, I bought the 01' S2K and traded it in three months later for an 03' S2K! I love it!

Although, I still wish I had my ITR. Ever since I sold the ITR, I have not been happy with any car, until now. The S2K is great, but the ITR would still make a useful addition.

If I could do things over again, I would have kept my ITR and bought the S2K in addition. Then, I would have had two of the best cars ever.

As luck would have it, I'm considering purchasing another ITR as my girlfriend is selling her 92' MR2 (NA) and wants something newer, but something that still has good performance and handling. She is seriously looking at a 00-01' Celica GTS, but I am opposed. We took a new one for a test drive, and that car is just crap! I'm glad I never bought one before (I considered it for a moment at one point). It has a soft, mushy, crappy clutch, you can't stay in VVTL-i very easily, and it really doesn't have great handling or performance.

I'm trying to persuade her to get an ITR. She liked mine, and knows that it is a great car, but finding one that is affordable and in good condition can be hard. She's looking to spend $13K or less, so this basically puts her in the 97-98 ITR range. I've seen a few for sale in that price range, but they do have higher mileage. So, we will continue to look around and see. She still likes the GTS and can get a newer one with less mileage for $13K or less.

We'll see!

I still pop in to check the forum every now and then, as I still have much love for the ITR. :)

As luck would have it, I'm interested. Due to financial constraints, I must sell my S2K even though I don't want to. I would like to get something that will be fun to drive and reliable, and I love the ITR.

Is it still for sale?
