The Jackson Racing Supercharger will make power but it will take a fuel management system and a lot of tuning. Matt from Hondata made 260+ hp and 170+ tq to the wheels with a JRSC tuned. That said it isn't easy to get the car to make this power.

There is the vortech SC but I don't know much about it, but it is spoken highly of.

JRSC sucks ballz on a R...

check out a ProCharger, they come with a intercooler and run 9-10psi bolton.

you could bolt on a Vortech b16a s/c and get gains, but i wouldnt recommend it

the jackson racing superchargers wont make as much power as the centrifugal chargers, but they are still very good chargers. the only thing JRSC needs is the intercooler for the R

Personally i would gho Turbo before S/C seems to me like turbo has a lot more potential in the long run for higher boost :twisted:

there are many a very happy SC-R owners who will TOTALLY disagree with you and tell you the an R with a JRSC does NOT "suck ballz". again, if you don't talk out of the side of you neck or out of your ass, and know WHAT it is u want from the car, NOONE who has decided on a blower will EVER want a turbo unless their tastes change. go get the JRSC, they kick ass on the R's and turn them into real streeet driven and track driven ebasts. like mine.

FACT: Hondata only dynoed 201whp@4.5psi TUNED
FACT: Procharger dollar for dollar hp per hp is a better deal.
FACT: JRSC sucks ---> http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=485284

http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=318910

only 215whp ---> http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=327771

Fact: 4.5 lbs is low even for a JRSC.
Fact: 201 hp is 30+ hp more than a stock motor
Fact: It woudl take more than 3000 to make 30 whp all motor.
Fact: R motor can handle 11 psi from JRSC
Fact: You can't say a product suks cause someone doesn't knoww what they are doing with it.
Fact: Hondata made 265 whp with JRSC on an R.
Fact: Hondata even made 207 whp out of a B16 at only 6 psi.

This setup is very viable but like I mentioned previously don't go into it without tuning in your primary plan.

Guys,

Everyone has a reason. Turbo or Supercharged or All Motor. Try to respect everyone's choices cause they definitely have thewir reasons.

I am as demented as anyone I not only won't go FI but I want to make all my power on OEM cams. I make 184 whp right now on a stock muffler and OEM cams.

i'm not going to sit here and be nice to someone who's being a dick to me sorry. i don't have a single idea why this opie character has something out for me? maybe it's the low 13 second timeslips on the motor he's jealous of. :roll: :roll: :roll:
anyway, you read his posts too and you know what you see, is it because he has more posts or some shit? i don't understand.

Go read the other forums where more people than just opie make comments on your crappy attitude.

I have kept my opinions to myself until you started calling people inappropriate names on our board.

I've looked at many of your other posts & only a few seemed to have the "bad attitude" that we are talking about. Why don't you & Opie just take a little break & ignore each other for a bit.

Our goal isn't to ban people & waste our time moderating asshole posts. The fact that it was apparent to a number of us makes it pretty evident that the 2 of you aren't getting along very well.

All good? Maybe a few more beers will make it better - at least it will for me :lol:

at 10 psi on the procharger they produced 15 more whp than JR. All im trying to say is that the Procharger is a better setup than JR...
