Top Fuel?

Post by TegR#0989 »

How well are these kits? I have heard some good things about them but have a hard time finding them on the net. Is there a site when I can view them?

I can get them from Japan for you, if you're really interested.

about how much do they run and do you have any specs on them or a GSR or even a Type R? I have a friend the has a civic with an R set-up and he is like quick as hell.

I let my friend borrow my HyperRev Magazine for Integra & Type R. When he gives it back to me, I can give you price quotes. I think I'm going back to Japan next winter. If you like, give me some money, and I'll see what I can get you.

So would a Top Fuel kit be advisable on a stock GSR or Type R?

there is something to be said for buying something where there is already a lot known about it.....Plus, at the very least, you'll be spending a lot more on Top Fuel stuff than a lot of other kits, just due to the fact that it's not readily available stateside, and will command a premium....

If your looking to go the turbo route, there are cheaper ways. I'm not knocking +F, but there are very expensive. You can go custom for cheaper to suit your needs. I wouldn't buy a DRAG kit, as they aren't quality units. But as for turbo, it's all about tuning just like NA. So pend your money there.

Thanks,
