Tech manuals for ITR?

Post by GOB »

Hello. First time posting. I currently manage two ITR cars, ex Realtime Intergras, and need to get tech manuals on these cars. I know our cars are far from stock, but would like to have at hand some manuals that would tell us the part numbers for the different components and something to the effect of torque specs for every nut an bolt. Any suggestions? Is there a clear best manual for this?

Unfortunately for us, here in Panama there are no certified or trained techs on these cars and we need all the help we can get with diagnosis and repairs. The RTR crew is awesome and helpful, but we do not want to bug them constantly.

Thanks in advance to those who reply.

Thanks Rob. Do you suggest to supplement this with Chilton or other brand? We would like to have as much tech info as possible for these cars. Thank you.

I don't think I've seen a Honda/Acura manual more complete and detailed than the Helm service manual.

Helm is the best because they make hondas manual's. SO there going to have all the part numbers in them.

The Helm manuals (the ones you can get from http://www.helminc.com) are indeed the best. They DO show the torque spec for every bolt. However, they DON'T show the part numbers for every part. For that, you will need to get a copy of the parts manual or parts fiches from a dealership. If there's a place where you order parts from, maybe they can help you. If you're looking for a place that sells parts through their website at decent prices, you might try http://www.ahmotor.com and maybe they could send you copies of the parts pages for the ITR. Another place that sells parts through their website is http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/ and on their website you can see the exploded diagrams of all the assemblies, etc. Only problem is that they don't show the Honda part number, only their own internal part number.

Helms service manual

How come the Helms doesn't have a supplement for the 98' integra type r. When they put all does that mean that the type r is in there too?
