Unfortunately, after consulting SCCA and NASA safety officials and evaluating the information that they gave me, I do not think it would be a good idea to use an external camera mount in any student group.

I'm a little worried about that wing nut, so please remember that it has to appear completely secure to your instructor and anyone he asks to have a look at it.
