Cams For JRSC

Hey this is my first time posting on this site and I would like to say that it rocks. I give props to the Webmaster. I was thinking of getting some cams with a JRSC for my R and was wondering if this is advisable. I was thinking or either Sunnk 2 Stage 2 or Toda Spec B's. Also how does the sound of a Hytech Exhaust compare to a Greddy EVO. Any input will be appreciated.

Believe it or not, the stock ITR cams seem to work the best for Boosted applications. It seems that very radical cams don't like boost, or vice versa. The cams to go with for charged cars are the Jun type-2 cams, they are what most of the cars that we dyno out, do the best with, and to be totaly honest, you really only need the intake cam.

Go too radical for cams, on top of boost, and you're just looking for probelms, besides, those cams really need to be reved up pretty high to make power, not to mention you should have your timing retarted slighly for boost, where those cams don't like timing less then like 15-16 degrees. So unless you feel like dumping loads of money into your valve train, and having a car that has some serious issues, I wouldn't really screw with it.

So how are the Jun cams compared in price to the others? Why only the intake Cam and is it worth getting them over my stock ones? Is the exhast side the same? Also what about the Exhaust systems mentioned above. Also bout how much for the Hy-Tech full exhaust system will I be looking at for my R.

Intake cam is the one that makes power, no the exhaust cam is not the same, and the hytech header is about 1300, the exhaust about a grand, and the test pipe is like 300.

Those parts are pretty high priced. How does the Mugen Header & Exhaust compare to the Hy-Tech.

less power and $975 for the header and $975 for the exhaust

So do you guys think that I will get more power w/ the JRSC setup with all of the bolt-ons or would I get more out of Some good cams and all of the bolt ons?

JSRC will make more power BUT a lot more work is involved.

I already have the jrsc. I love it. My question is what benefit will I get from the cooler thermostat and plugs? Also, if I install the Jackson Racing liquid intercooler will I still need the boost timing controller? Anyone out there have any experience with one of them?
