Are you actually talking about street racing? Road racing is club/pro racing on racetracks (sebring, road atlanta, beaver run, VIR, etc) with a legal sanctioning body and classes, etc, etc.
If you are talking about street racing then I have to note that street racing is not an allowable topic of discussion on this site. Sorry.
As for a guy feeling bad if a girl beats him, I think he has enough issues without a thread making fun of him.

Can't someone with the power just please kill/delete this thread!
As a female road racer I think that chick's orginal pointless post is counter-productive and embarrassing- nothing good can come with a thread starting like that! And I've never chaulked up a win to "gyrl skills" just "driving skill"...

Danielle ... are you planning on coming out to the '04 ITR Expo this year?
It will be taking place at Summit Point Raceway on the new Shenandoah circuit June 5th-6th.

I've been meaning to go every year- I've promised myself next year for real!zygspeed wrote:Danielle ... are you planning on coming out to the '04 ITR Expo this year?

But we're already making the trek to Summit Pt (a haul from Knoxville, TN) several times this year and the year's budget is spoken for already- we are going to all East Coast and Southeast Honda Challenge events this year (26 races- so yea we'll be broke!). Also I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't track the car until paid off (which isn't the worst promise being that, thats what the Civic racecar is for) but it seems kind of seems silly to take the Civic to a Type R expo.
So hopefully you guys will see/meet me at the 2005 when the R is paid off...either that or you guys should come out for a ECHC or SEHC race weekend!!
