Question about RevHard
Question about RevHard
Just a quick question. I am looking at a turbo and since RevHard is so highly recommended here I checked it out. I can't find any mention of fuel management or upgrades to the fuel system except for the fuel pump. How is a/f managed by this kit or do I need to purchase something else in addition to the kit. Thank you for any information

the kit itself isn't very well equipped to handle fuel control, all you get is a high quality FMU and inline pump. The car will run rich (but somewhat safe), but will not be as driveable, or make as much power as with standalone management, like the Hondata system. I ran the kit without tuning with the kit's basic fuel provisions for about 1 year, no problems, it went 13.7s at 109mph on factory tires. I then added 440cc injectors, and removed the FMU, and used a VAFC to "tune" the car and ran 12.7s, but the car was virtually undriveable in the summer heat, it ran way too rich. Now with the Hondata, the car is stock in terms of driveability, and pulls very hard all the way to redline, we will see how it improves the 1/4 mile times in a couple of months. Hey come check out Honda-Acura.net, we hang out over there now quite a bit....

What' the story on the upper pipe, is it just larger than the one that comes with the kit? I doubt it will make a huge difference unless you are looking for more than a few hundred horsepower. Don't get me wrong the kit will run right out of the box, it just runs rich as hell that's all. I run RC injectors, I haven't had any problems with them, just make sure you order the harnesses too, they don't come with the injectors (learned the hard way on that one
) I spent about 2-3 hours on the dyno not including setup (o2 sensor, etc.), I'm guessing about 6 pulls.
