what about full refund if some of us are not going to beaverTrey wrote:No word at all from Summit so i called our freinds at BeaveRun as a preventative measure. I don't feel optimistic about Summit but I do agree I hate for it to move again and was looking forwards to the new track!Austin wrote:So Trey...what was the final outcome of the conversation concerning Summit Point? I would still love to go if the venue and date change, however it's going to take me quite a bit of time going up the corporate ladder for approvals.
Austin
I suspect we will do a partial refund if we move to the Beaver.

I think july 3-4 would work better because:
A. it is a weekend not a weekday
B. most people are off on that weekend
C. we could do some fire works with a WHOLE bunch of R owners
D. travel time for the 23-24 would cut way into the work week

most people already have plans
travelling over that weekend will be the suck
I think pros out weigh the cons simply because work>than expo

Actually, I've seen R owners at an Expo with Fireworks & that's not necessarily a good thing...ITR41 wrote:I think july 3-4 would work better because:

I'm hoping for end of July 'cause I already have off to go to Ohio to see my pops for the week

Traffic will be murder on the holiday weekend, more cops on duty, more tickets to be written,...Boy, they'll be foamin' at the mouth at the thought of stroking 30 or 40 tix in one stop!
I vote for the later dates. I work retail and we're open 7 days a week so it doesn't matter when I take off.

Where ever you go , there you are.
I was actually a little worried about the date change but it turns out the 23rd & 24th are Friday and Saturday of my work's shutdown week. So I'll have a whole week off to prepare for the Expo and it's closer I'm assuming if we'd already registered and payed for the event at Summit we don't need to do anything else right?
