ITR BBQ - Chicago (all ITRs welcome) - May 15

Post by Chris N »

MAY 15th.

The plan is to have this at Centenial Park in Highland Park.

Hopefully we can get a good group of Chicago and Milwaukee ITRs together.

Here's the catch - and it has been this way in the past - no other cars, as its an ITR meet. If you want to bring guests - put them in your car, this isn't an open invite for anyone to show like H-T meets, only ITRs. Normally we don't do this, but this time we are. :D

MAY 15.

Note - don't post this on H-T or anywhere else at this point. When we've got the details set we can try to post it a few places to find the ITRs we have no accounted for yet....

Brian Dopp from Speedtrials USA will be joining us.
Clayton from King Motorsports will also be coming - and bringing some of the King project cars.

Whoa.. prom.

That's 2 out so far. :(

If we get a resounding amount of people who can't come, we can reschedule...

So far three individuals have replied not being able to attend due to prior engagements. Chris if possible we can reschedule it a week before or a week after and maybe get a list going to expect how many individuals will show. Also it be good idea to start a draft of food list, i'll bring some chicken so you guys can bbque it as well as some hot dogs/sausages.

p.s. someone needs to bring a grill!!! any volunteeers!!!

Hey Guys,

Count me in. Every event I have been able to attend has been a ton of fun. Anyone that is "on the fence" about coming out; just do it. You will have a blast. I guess I will have to find myself a Type R somewhere!!!

My only request is that it be a little later in the afternoon. I have obligations in the morning that I don't know if I will be able to get out of. This is shaping up to be a very eventful Spring.

no prob will do, thanks ken for posting directions :D

just went through my e-mail and it seems king motorsports might be bringing their S2k and civic with full mugen gear. If that's not enough motivation for you guys to show.. i dont know what is.. thanks for king for showing support nblessing us with their presence =)

for those individuals who have offerred to help chris, we still need someone to bring a grill, a cooler, buns, other food necessities, condoments, water, and anything that you think will be good enough to share with everyone. I'll be e-mailing everyone tonight to ask what everyone wants to bring as well as a food list, if you want to add yourself and what food you'll bring that would be awesome. I appreciate the help guys. If you want to e-mail me and tell me what you want to bring or be added to the food list do so, you can e-mail me at Kicker773@sbcglobal.net . For indivdiuals who are still not sure about directions, you can also e-mail me if the link doesn't help (which i doubt, thanks again ken) that basically maps out any direction your coming from. Hope to hear from you guys soon.

I think instead of an email list, lets just post another thread here in a few weeks when everyone has had time to check their schedules and we know who all is coming.... then we can talk food/equipment/etc.
