I love my R but...

Post by reiner383 »

I love my Type R, but I just had to post a picture of my new baby. I know, I went to the dark side and bought a turbo charged car, but at least it's Japanese. What do you guys think? Did I commit a sin?

Dude why are you asking us for reassurance for buying anything other than a Honda Acura product. :?

Well, I've gotten a couple of nasty comments from some other people on another site. Seems like a lot of honda people are VERY into their Hondas and nothing else. Also, being that I am a girl, I tend to get mean comments anyways. I was just asking for some honest opinions instead of the totally one-sided comments that I have recieved from another Honda site.

Yeah, I've been having problems with the link also, but I bought a WRX STi. I really like the car, but there is no replacing my R. I live up in the Petaluma area, and I do get out to Sears Point every now and then.

The R is my baby, I could never sell it. But I don't really drive it either so the STi is my daily driver and the R come out on weekends when it's sunny.

My R is a 2001 and is mostly stock still. I've only taken it down the track once. Ran a 14.5 in it, but it's just not fast enough for me yet. I want it to be able to beat the STi. It's a lot of fun to get both cars out and turn heads.

Okay, got the link to work, I just went ahead and made a small website, now you can see what I'm talking about. I need to get some more pictures of the R, especially in action and don't mind the GTi, it’s my boyfriends. I would never own a VW, but thank god he finally upgraded everything on it so it doesn’t look anything like that anymore....It use to be so embarrassing to drive with him, I would be like, hey baby how bout we take MY car :D

I like the STI, that was on my list of cars to get. I went with the itr in the end though.
