Not an itr unfortunatally. But would you low boost a ls, or do an itr swap?

not trying to go all out. Just want more fun out of car. 16.0 too slow. WOuld prefer 14.0

ITR swap...you won't see 14.0 with a stock motor but a few bolt on's later you might get you mid 14's. Your base is there for a good future with it tho. You say 14's now but in a few years you'll be wanting more and more....trust me

I have to say something but with respect; These car were designed with handling in mind not 1/4 times. A type-R was a balanced car right down to the battery placement. If you want to do 14's all day long buy a 5.0 drop 2k in it and you can run 12-13's all day long and do it all for under 5k.. Now if you want to have real fun , your in Austin and so am i we can put your car on the alignment rack and tweak it. Them follow me up to TWS ( Texas World Speedway) you will have a whole new definition of speed and satisfaction.. There is nothing like taking a stone stock type R up there and passing a few M-3's and a few Porsche race cars on a big track .. That my friend was what your car will excel at.. 8)

yeah thats all good but um....he doesnt have a ITR :?

I get my butt handed to me quite often by a girl in a DC1 ls teg ..... Yeah a girl... :shock:
Besides its a b18 ls right? hell he has more torque and as much hp a an 00 Si and a lighter chasis.... :D
I am not trying to de grade 1/4 mile i have raced for years mid 10's in a Mustang. i am not trying to be little the sport by any means but it wouldd take a great deal more to be fast at 1/4 mile vrs a set of coil overs and good shocks and just kick a** at an auto X... :wink:

well the car has been in the bodyshop for almost 3 months now. I would enjoy autocross and what not. My friend Kevin enjoys it alot. His SI is alot of fun there. What is your location?
