re gearing a type r and ground wires

Post by yeungkaho »

hi, i am now modifying my engine, new pistons, crank, etc. and i was wondering if i should re gear my type -r, because my car is going to have 12.5:1 compression ratio. so how much better will i be off with re gearing my R.

also, where do i install the ground wires???.

and what brand is good?

changing gears is a personal preference, you setup your gearing for what kind of driving your doing, engine static compression has nothing to do with gears.\
i suggest you do a lot more research, searches are your friend
