JDM ITR GATHER DUAL DIN DECK

i have been trying to find any kind of information about people who have successfully installed the JDM ITR GATHER DUAL DIN DECK on USDM DC INTEGRAS. i have been to 3 common web sites (honda-tech, jdmcivic and this website) but have no luck finding anything. i just want to know if the top deck (cd part) is able to light up amber with the stock INTEGRA wiring harness. for some reason it doesn't light up like the bottom deck does. also, i know that the frequency on this deck have to be converted to US frequencies. how do you go about in doing this? any information would be of great help.
