advice for someone who lost their 98 type r to car theft

I recently got my mint condition 98 typr r stolen 9-5-05. car was recovered 10-3-05 in milwaukee Wi stripped and horribly vandalized,
really sick stuff done to it. I am fighting with insurance Co about value of car. need advice on what to do? appreciate any help thanks
