drove 04 type r not impressed

Post by コ ブラスタ »

Today I drove an 04 typeR and the results are none the less dissapointing. I had so much hope for this car and for some of you who are licking your chops over this baby I say this: "I know why they didn't bring it to the states". Sure it's fast and handles okay but it just doesn't have that Dc2 grip and spirit I think honda lost the essence of the integra in general not just the R models. To me it's just a glorified RSX but i'd take that motor though it's a beast but the chasis and the tranny needs a little work. just my 2 c. ムカック!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :x

Thanks for the review, but I think we've lost all hope that Honda will ever bring anything cool over to the US.

I'm sure with a few bolt-ons and a reflash would bring more excitement to that car.

This may not apply as much to the Type R trim level but if you compare an 04 Type S and an 05 Type S, the refinement is remarkable. Its almost a whole new car. I have a some driving expierence with botha nd the 05 is very nice.

I know they changed the final drive gear and refine the suspension even more(suspension needingthe most work out of all the car IMO)

But it is disappointing to hear that the DC5-R is not as fun as the DC2-R or is it....
