After having an R for about 3 years, I finally made it here to this forum. I am usually on H-T, but hopefully I will be welcome here. Most of these pics are really old, but oh well......................\

do you know exactly what happened to your exhause valve?

i had a similar problem and can't quite figure out what exactly happened. but i would like to know to keep it from happeneing again. :)

To my understanding, this was caused either by the incorrect valve lash, or from a money shift. I think that it was caused by the valve lash, these cars are very sensitive. Under harsh driving conditions, you need to adjust the valves often. Also, I was running very rich, this plus the valves off, made for an ugly outcome.
