what tire brand and size on stock itr

Does anyone recommend putting tire size 205/50/15 or 195/50/15 in a stock usdm itr rim? will it scratch the side fender if the car is lowered? or is it better off replacing it with factory spec? any recommendation on tire brand?
I know factory size is 195/55/15.

im thinking about getting bridgestone potenza s-03.

The car will be driven only in the summer time.

They are Bridgestone Potenza RE010, which are now discontinued, same tires came on the Acura NSX

I use S03's on my stock rims.
They do well. And the tread is still hardly showing any wear after 10k miles on them.

The stock tire (Bridgestone Potenza RE010, 195/55-15) is still available.

I recommend using the stock 195/55-15 size if the tire you want to use is available in that size. If not, then use 205/50-15, which is 1.6 percent smaller in diameter, and will throw off your speedometer and odometer by that percentage. I do NOT recommend using 195/50-15, which is 3.3 percent smaller than stock.

The S-03 is a very good tire, although expensive, as is the stock RE010. Great performance from either one. The RE010 is well-known for its great handling "feel".

There are lots of other good tires out there. The Falken Azenis RT-615 (205/50-15) is super-sticky, but doesn't last very long. If you're willing to take a step down in performance from the S-03 or RE010, you can get the Toyo T1-R (195/55-15) or Kumho Ecsta MX (205/50-15), both for around $80. You can take another step down in performance with the Kumho Ecsta SPT or Yokohama AVS ES100, both in 195/55-15 for around $60.
