Well, shit

Post by Sprockett »

I guess I must have missed the deadline to get into a driver's spot. I didn't have the $$ at the time, and was waiting for a check to come (still hasn't come, but it should be here this week), but I guess all the spots are filled now...oh well I guess. I'm still planning on coming to hang out for those two days, though, if only as a spectator. This sucks though because it's right in my back yard (well, closest raceway to me), and I have no idea when I'll be able to go to another one...dammit. I guess there's always the season finisher AutoX they have at Gingerman...

Dont let your hopes down just yet. There are usually just under a handful of people who cancel the last minute. If you cant get in..... go, and ride. There will be alot of empty seats where you can ride. I think my seat will be empty for some time. At least I hope so. :)

Yeah, alot of my friends who just went and watched said almost the same. Some left with a new found respect for ITR owners/track events.

I dont know how many events Ive been to where are WELCOMED to ride in other peoples cars. Ill tell ya a hint. Bring a helmet and walk up to somebody and ask "need a passenger?!"

Ill bet you dinner all of them will say yes. (provided you arent asking a ride in the Spoon car)

If I get some time to go out for myself I'll take a passenger... But I might have my hands full so don't get bent out of shape if I say sorry.

By the way... Is there an official waiting list for driving spots?

agreed, if my instructor lets me out into the wild I will ask permission to take passengers along.

From my past experience, only Adv and Instructors will be able to take passengers on track. I would bet it's the same for this event too... But I could be wrong.

Let's wait for the Official word. Lance?

I think we normally only let approved ADV students take a passenger if any. I will be giving lots of rides I'm sure...you should be safe inside my cage.

Anyway - if you want to be on the list for open driver's spots - send me an email at budman@itrca.com & I'll put you on our list. If a spot opens up & we contact you, be ready to pay immediately or we have to go to the next spot. FCFS.

Enjoy the event!
