for one reason why I say don't get a ITR, it will eventually get stolen.
But does make for a nice DD tho. (garage to garage)

Either keep the S2000 or try a WRX, I'm happy with mine ... as long as I have the R in the garage on standby

that sounds pretty good, but I'll bet an ITR would be the one to break the clean streak.

My vote would be the S2000. Power to weight ratio and the handling characteristics are far superior to the ITR. I wanted to buy an S2000 badly, but I'm too tall to fit (also a bit to wide...LOL!). Believe me...I have never been disappointed in my Type R at all. If you can swing it, get the ITR in addition to the S2000! You would be the envy of a lot of people! Let us know what you decide.

I've owned 2 Type-R's and am Driving and S2000 now.

Here are my thoughts:

The S2000 Stock wins on power. This is based on an AP2 with the different gearing and 2.2l engine. That said bolt ons for the Type-R and it's an even game for speed.

Handling, I'd say neither has an advantage. FWD vs RWD is a preference and I can outdrive most people in a RWD in a Type-R. I love performane driving FWD but it is definitely a challenge. The Type-R is lighter and race inspired.

Space wise the Type-R beats the S2000 laughably, beats the TSX as well.

For that more grown up refined feel and look the S2000 wins. If I had to pick a different car today it woudl be another Type-R. That isn't to say I would pick it over the S2000 but if the S2000 didn't exist.

They are equal in fun in my opinion but if you want more space and can appreciate front wheel drive the Type-R is the cr for you.

you said u want more seats. if that means your going to do any people hauling, the back of the teg is a hell hole for anybody over 5 feet tall. and are really just good for throwing crap back there. so if u want the seats for the room it would work, but for actual people hauling, get the sti. not to mention there is nothing worse than driving a teg with 4 people in it....

Well if your looking for more seats, the ITR has a really cramped area back there if you or your passengers are taller then 5' 2"

So, you plan on carting around dead fish in your new car but can't decide whether an S2K or an ITR are the better choice??
Buy a Ridgeline if you're set on hauling around dead things in a Honda.
