im talkin about the comptech stainless header right here

http://www.comptechusa.com/store/210001itr.html

seems like a pretty good header for mid range power compared to the 4-1 systems with high end.. they had some dynos in a forum here about all the headers and this one seems to perform well but no on really talks about it...

my goals are to create a great flowing exhaust system for my car that produces good numbers and this car will see some road racing/ time attack in the future..

I've heard that the Comptech header has really shitty ground clearance. Other than that I'm sure it's fine.

For that kinda money I would rather put a oem 4-1 jdm header w/ upper and lower heat sheilds and a used cat or test-pipe to fit the new size collector.
Is you shop wisely all that can be bought used in good to great shape for the price of the comptech header alone.

If I recall correctly the 4-1 jdm header produced more Hp then the Comptech.

And a great thing about the 4-1 header is ground clearence, Heat sheilds and the stealth look for any prying eyes (like cops)
