exhaust question????

I didnt want to hjack the other exhaust thread so i thought i would make my own. I just put a omni power test pipe on my car recently, and i love it, but the only thing is with my exhaust it is way to loud for me. So what i have been thinking about putting my stock exhaust back on to quiet it down. Do you think that that the stocker with lose power verse the one i bent up myself. And secondly i was also thinking that if there was a noticable amount of power loss i could put an exhaust dump/cut out on for the track and have the best of both worlds.

I guess im just getting old!!!! lol
