2003 Type-R Expo Instructors Needed . . .

Post by Trey »

Hey guys.

I am organizing the 2003 Type-R Expo and we have acquired Beaver Run on April 12/13 (Saturday/Sunday) for our event. We have everything we need except one thing. . . . We need instructors.

I have organized two previous events with Scott Giles (co-founder of the East Coast Honda Challenge) in the past and things have run very well. What I am proposing is that those qualified to instruct come and teach the novice and intermediate Type-R drivers how to drive on a track safely. In exchange I will offer an instructor group that will get equal time on track (without the students). You will be asked to ride with and help 2 students (1 novice, 1 intermediate). You will see 1-1.5 hours of driving time on the track for your troubles FREE.

We wil also feed all of the instructors lunch.

If you are interested in the opportunity please email me at trey@itrca.com.

Not sure that I really want to teach, but I've been the Crew chief for an SCCA, PBOC, PCA road race team for quite a while now, so if you guys need some help wiht regards to setting up, and helping people out, if I can make it, I'd be happy to help.

Hey Trey,
I am pretty new with the ITR club stuff, but I have extensive instruction background.
I'd like to know about this event.....where and what......
If it is close to me..(Montreal)....I would be glad to help.

Is it being held at a race track, because I never heard of Beaver Run.

Let me know, as I am setting my calander for next year.

:raises hand: :)
Count me in for instructor duties.

I have attended level I and level II Nasa instructor clinics.

I want Williard as my Professor... My last instructor drove a viper, then I ran a run with an instructor that had a C5 Hybrid and I learned more with the hybrid guy than the viper guy.

Who else is an instructor?
