The new pictures really do your car justice.I love those headlights, they look fantastic!I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but the whole car looks sweet.

Waiting for the cops to go in the garage and ticket the R
I have only used the R twice since I put the covers on and both time I have been near cops w/o any problems... (knocks on wood)

And how hard would it be to remove the film (if necessary)? I'd be interested in the clear film for my headlights, but would be concerned with it yellowing over time...

And btw I don't have fogs on the R... Only the wrx has fog lights and I took a pic yesterday but I forgot the camera at my friends...
I'll get a pic of the wrx's fog light tomorrow.

Is the light output similar to using a yellow tinted bulb once the yellow film is on?

It does add yellow to the feild of view but really would be better with a real bulb.
And as for making one... Sure but read my previous sentance.
