Can someone help a girl out??

Post by diva »

Im new to this whole integra world but im doing a project in a class that requires me to compare times of cars....but honestly i know nothing about integras...im a VW/German performance person....im sorry haha. Any ways. I dont know about the different makes of each integra, and i realize that this is a type R site but i thought that you guys could possibly help. I need the 0-60 times and quarter mile times of stock integras, each ones if possible or somewhere you can refer me to find that info. But also for type-R's i need that info and the year of each car...AND lastly, if you have completely stock car OTHER than have it supercharged, turbo charged, or nitrous...i need the times for those cars too. I know this is random and strange but can you help me???

I never ran my car at the track stock, but currently it runs 13.6 at 107 mph on factory stock tires, on sticky tires it might break into the 12's.
For comparisons sake, a brand new Nissan 350Z runs 14 flat, I don't know the mile per hour. Typical (new) Mustang GT will run 14.7's that's about on par with a Camaro Z28, A Camaro SS will run 13.8 to 13.9. My car is a 2000 Integra Type-R (Turbocharged) Your best bet would be to pick up a Car and Driver or Road and Track magazine, each issue has road test results of stock cars (I can't remember which one of those magazines has it, but it's one of the two) Good luck on your report!

0-60

Post by Jan Niemi »

I do not know my 0-60, but it's not all that important to me, there are a lot of cars that can beat my 0-60 time, but at the track I'm going from 0 to 107 right now, a car like a camaro SS can probably beat my 0-60 but not my 0 to 107. 0-60 times don't mean much. A lot of somewhat quick 0-60 cars fall flat on their faces after that, thats when I'm getting to the fat part of my powerband. This is why I really don't try to out do too many people on the street, I go to the track, where I feel that I can safely and legally exploit my car's performance potential. By the way, what's the point of your paper?

i have to do this research project for my AP math class. You could pick whatever topic you wanted to do so i thought what better than cars. But you have to compare something in your project so it all kind of fit after that. I understand what you mean about the 0-60 time

It has lots of cars, although some of the data should not be compared directly with each other (ie cars were tested by different magazines, under different conditions, diff tracks, etc etc) but this link should be helpful:
