Will this wheel size fit my R?

An Evo 9 MR owner is selling his BBS forged 17x8 wheels including the OE Yoko Advan tires for $1200. They have the same bolt pattern as the R, but the offset is 38. I was curious if 17x8 with 38 offset will fit on my R at stock ride height. Will there be any rubbing? Will I have to roll my fenders? I thought this was a pretty good deal for these wheels and tires. I also think the dark grey color will look badass on my NHBP R too. Any thoughts??? THanks

I don't know about the wheels, but the tires are WAY too big (235/45-17). You'll need to replace them. The proper 17" size for the ITR is 205/40-17.

Thanks Nsxtasy.......I kinda had the feeling the tires were too wide for the R, but really wanted to know if the 38offset of the wheels would fit on my R or present any issues? I definitely wouldn't run anything wider than 205 or 215s on the R.
