adjustments on the front control arms?

Post by Bbasso »

As many of you know... at the ITR Expo I won/ recieved a pair of Omni Adjustable upper control arms Very nice, thanks Expo sponsers!

But with the new suspension (BC coilovers w/ 700/850 lbs spring rates) along with the 23mm rear sway bar, Could anyone reccomend how I should set up the adjustments on the front control arms?
I don't use the car much any more for street... Just a few miles per year (under 5k) and most of those will have been going to track events and back, and just a few on a nice Sundays. 8)

I use RA1 on 15x7 Kosei wheels, and would like the most out of the control arms, Hopefully without killing the tires too quick

Any help is greatly appreciated

(I already heard that I should replace the bolts that came with it, I'll be shopping for new ones this week. Also that the paint where the bolts lock down should be stripped.)

OH and would any type of rear adjustments be nessary, such as the rear camber adjusters from comptech or else where?

I was just advised to Max them out...

Here is the quote-

max them out up front, then if you can get temps and work from that point.

as far as the rear goes a bunch of people are going to tell you that don't need the rear adjusters because you will want to TAKE away negative camber which you can do with a simple washer. I ran this way for awhile and im now runnig alot of rear negative camber, im still to green to be able to point anything to why im getting faster, but after addng the negative camber, i did see a improvments in lap times. Now the improvments could also be just me learning to drive better and push the car futher to its limits, but some times i listen to birdies and make adjustments like add rear camber.
I'd like to hear more thoughts on this too
