decal tragedy.....everyone should read

Post by fredtoast »

We had a snowstorm here last week, and then the temperature dropped to near zero. Since my outside spigot was frozen I went to a carwash (not a drive through) to rinse the nasty, salty ice off of my car. When I finished I discovered that a large portion of my "Type-R" decalcomanias had washed off. I've never heard of this happening before. My car is five years old, but I didn't think decals wore out. It must have been a combination of the cold weather and the high pressure spray.

So where is the cheapest place to buy replacements?

Hey when i bought muy car the previous owners had removed the decals becouse they were looking a little worn out, it was also 4 or 5 years old. I ordered some new ones from sigmaautomotive.com they come straight from Japan so it takes forever to get hear but i got the two decals for each side for $40.Hope that helps.
