We certainly appreciate your suggestion. The kind of tracks we review must be a minimum of 1.8 mile road courses. The goal of our events is to teach R drivers how to drive 'at speed'.
Perhaps one of these days, we'll be able to hold an event that has an additional autocross facility as well.
Please consider the drive to the Expo 7 (unannounced location). I'm sure you will find, as others do, it's worth the drive.

MidOhio...? Dont know if thats ever been a possibilty but i do know that Honda holds its Performace Driving School there so it cant be a bad track for beginners. Just a thought.

I think the major issue with LRP in the past was safety but they did alot of redesign of safety barriers, the uphill and downhill sections last winter before this season began so that isn't as much of an issue as it used to be. The price and Sunday availability would be more of an issue at this point.Bbasso wrote:As much as I'd love to have it in my back yard, LRP is not affordable or IMHO safe enough for people that are brand new to track events. Besides it would have to be a weekday event if we could afford LRP, because they do not have any events on Sunday.
As always I'll still say VIR!
where am I?
