*** Expo 7 Tentative Location and Date ***
Expo 7 will tentatively be at VIR Full on June 11th and 12th (Monday and Tuesday), 2007. To make this happen we will need a minimum of around 85 paid “students” by the end of the year. The cost will be around $350 per student, which includes the banquet.
The Expo committee is working on getting registration open and updating ITRCA.com accordingly. Registration will be open to all Hondas and Acuras initially, and any other make of vehicle will be decided upon on a case by case basis. All people that have been to previous Expos will be welcomed to participate in this one regardless of vehicle type.
The event will be structured as past Expos have been. VIR is a premier track, and it will take a lot of effort to make this happen, and we will need help spreading the word. VIR specifics can be found at http://www.virclub.com/vir/

Most people won't be willing to pay ~$500 so it falls on a weekend. $350 is a steal for this track. If work can't give you a couple days off 9 months in advance...time to look for a new jobBbasso wrote:I'll be the first to complain about the week day event.
That sucks... I hope I can make it this year, and out of all tracks too

Roll this Bring it on bad boy...Dave B wrote: Glad that a new one has been made and listed. Jeff, you ready to get rolled?
That said, I will be a full instructor this year. There's no point in being in advanced & taking 3 students
Hmmmmm - who should I make on my list ( I know I know ) and not sign them off????????? Tempting isn't it.
j/k - I don't jack around with students. I'm just screwing with davey boy who might end up being my student.
Student? Not needed, I'm sure I'll put you in the car for a few laps, but I fully plan on at least 5 track events before VIR. I've got sebring in less than 2 weeks, moroso in another month and I think homestead is before christmas.BudMan wrote:Roll this Bring it on bad boy...Dave B wrote: Glad that a new one has been made and listed. Nice job young padawan. Now you will fully become brainwashed into the 'race' community. You may shortcut the process by handing all of your money to me, for there will be no other eventual outcome than you will be broke with a large smile on your faceDave B wrote:

LOL. I'll do just that, and I'll fly out there and make sure you have your 4.9 FD ready to go for Expo/next season!!! Actually, I want you to take my car out at Expo and tell me what you think. Well, that is if we can fit you in a little ol recaro SPG.BudMan wrote:Nice job young padawan. Now you will fully become brainwashed into the 'race' community. well which way are you coming from? P1 is not far from Danville, but you'd have to book decently in advance.ITR 1102 wrote:woohoo. this will be fun.
edit:
Are there any places close by known for tuning?
If possible, I would like to get retuned before the expo.
or....
Jeff, are you still considering flying someone in this winter to tune?

Kudos to both of you...I forgot P1 isn't far. This is a perfect plan to get that stupid hondata setup right!!!!Erik95LS wrote:well which way are you coming from? P1 is not far from Danville, but you'd have to book decently in advance.ITR 1102 wrote:woohoo. this will be fun.

To be honest Jeff, I don't think that I am going to stick with Hondata.
Since there is a chance that the blue box is in fact somewhat faulty, I have decided to get tuned with Chrome.
Edit:
Well, P1 will tune with Neptune or my S200, but I would have to have the emulator if I wanted to get tuned with the S200.

You can go S300 and remove the blue box completely.ITR 1102 wrote:To be honest Jeff, I don't think that I am going to stick with Hondata.

I was going to, but seeing how much it is, and the fact that one of the free programs work just as good, I decided against the S300. I am going to get the J&S safeguard knock sensor, and use that with the wideband o2 i just got.Dave B wrote: You can go S300 and remove the blue box completely.
Then I will get tuned either with Chrome of Neptune.
