Integra Type-R Discussion - Discuss general ITR information, technical information (including requests for technical/mechanical help/assistance), modifications, tuning, etc.
Are there any chassis differences between the LS/GS, GS-R, and Type R? I know that the Type R chassis is specially designed specifically for that car, but will suspension components built for a Type R be able to be used on a LS model?
I'm helping a friend with her LS model Integra, and we're looking for a good coilover/suspension setup. I suggested the Tein type Flex setup, but it looks like it's only applicable to the Type R. Would it work on the LS anyway? It's a 1996 if that helps any.

Thanks in advance.
Everything will bolt up but with respect to suspentoin the LS will need Type-R Rear lower control arms to work with Type-R suspension.

They do connect to the crossmember that the GSR doesn't have. BUT the mounting location on both the GSR subframe and the Type-R Subframe are the same for the rear LCA's. THe only difference in subframes in the Swyabar mounting points.
