I know I have bad habits... But each time I go out I have the tape rolling and I watch it after and try to correct them next time.
This can go in either direction.
some time can be good to see if you or any person has the basic skills
some time can lead to good experience and also pick up bad habits but should be kept at a min if a student constantly have good and different instrutors
I guess a few events can't hurt, and school will only help you.
