$80k lens, holy cow!
Always wanted to pic up a dig SLR ever since that first Digital Rebel from Canon came out. I spend alot of time in the woods in the spring, summer, fall, and winter so I've had many a great shots where I wish I had a good camera. Usually settled for a P&S shot.

They're all getting very inexpensive. Or at least the prices have and are continuing to come way down.

Actually now that I look it up again it was $89k, but that included a hard case and a major tripod. Weighed 36lbs......
Only a handful in existence.

if you just search for "canon 1200mm" you'll get all kinds of info. You could shoot anything with it........as long as its bright out and really far away. Wildlife would be the best thing I can think of. Or maybe seeing what color driver's eyes are on the other end of the track.
These guys put it on a video camera and through adapters and multpliers took it to 17280mm. That is just insane.

Used SR8 are going for a tad more. A nicely optioned brand new SR3 is around 80k... Used ones are around 50 and up.. One day I will own a Radical... Or a Stohr.. Either or..

The guy that I ran into with that yellow one had just gotten rid of his SR3 for the SR8 in early July and he said he got it for about $85-90 brand new. If I were going to spend that much, that would be a hard thing to pass up.
Although 60k, for a Noble sounds damn good too.
